It was a beautiful Houston day when I met up with Elyse and Jeff at St. Anne Catholic Church. I took some beautiful shots of Elyse and her bridesmaid, while Jeff had some fun ideas about the groomsmen being distracted during the photo session.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple came outside where they released doves from “Carlos”, their getaway car. Jeff and Elyse wanted their family portraits to be taken outside and it was the perfect day for it! After the family formals, I took a few photos of the wedding party and then took some time with the newly wed couple for more creative portraits.
The reception followed at the Houstonian Hotel, one of my favorite hotels in town. Their staff is amazing and the beautiful grounds are great for portraits. Before the couple were introduced, they showed a wonderfully fun video about how Elyse and Jeff met in high school. It was one of the best introduction videos I’ve seen! The couple and their guests ate and danced the rest of the evening.
