Mona and Aamir met in medical school and started dating in New York City during their residency. She describes their first date as the “best first date ever” and their love grew from that day. The wedding and reception was at the  Houstonian Hotel in Houston and we were ecstatic that they chose us to capture it all. We had worked with Mona and her family for her sister’s wedding a few years ago, and they have remained one of our favorite clients since. After getting ready, Mona and Aamir braved the cold weather for their first look and some quick creative portraits outdoors. Following formal group photos in the lobby, the ceremony and reception took place in the Grand Ballroom. One of our favorite moments were Mona and her father dancing and the knife dance. The dancing never stopped all night as the couple celebrated their special day with their friends and family.
